Went to church today, I always enjoy that. Please feel free to write and let me know about your church. I love to hear of others experiences. My son has a friend over today and he is pre diabetic and I have to watch the foods I let him eat. It is sad to see a child with a disability. well more later.

swimming pool blues

We are trying to put up my sons swimming pool today next week is spossed to be hot and maybe in the 90's so it will probably feel good to him. My husband is such a good man he works two jobs most of the time and still has time for things like putting up a swimming pool. I guess I just wanted others to know how grateful I feel to have him because I just looked outside and I saw that he seemed to be having a little trouble putting the pool up. Oh the things we'll do for our children.

He ask me to give him impossible

My nephew who is serving his country in Kuwait and who I love like a son and would do anything for and might I add that has never ask anything much of me in all his twenty years of being on this earth has I now believe ask me the impossible. Wouldn't you just know it the one time that he ask something of me I don't think I can deliver. Well so as not to keep you in sespence he wants me to make him a crochet afagan. Now this I can do, but here comes the hard part he wants it made in royal blue which your probably thinking so what? Well he wants a big orange F right in the middle of it.Or did he say yellow. Hey at this point I don't know when I hear this I am lost. I ask the reason for all of this and he says its because I like the Florida Gators. I think it would have been easier to get him tickets to a Gators game. Who knows. So if anybody out there is crafty and has any ideas how I might be able to pull this off PLEASE share. I have until the end of September to get-ur-done.

Strawberries,strawberries, strawberries

Went out in the garden this evening and boy are the strawberries coming in. There are really a lot of them. I have already made a strawberry cake and capped and cleaned some for my son to eat. If any of you bloggers know of any good strawberry recipes send them my way. I enjoy using and making new ideas and recipes.

It's been a while

It's been a while since I have been herebut my does the time fly. Went to be with my dad on fathers day and spent some quality time with my husband as well. I had some thing to do for my parents yesterday so I feel good about helping them out. My husband and I brought us a new stove which we needed desperately. Felt guilty as always when I get myself anything although a stove benefits the whole family and I had gotten my husband a new watch for fathers day so I felt it only right to by something for my son. My husband and I took a trip to town to by a swimming pool for him. Now I found out that the pool is going to take 2000 gal of water so I am now going to see if with a donation the fire department will come fill it up. I should have went with something less complicated but I'm sure it will be enjoyed by my son when we get it filled up.

Well I have been grocery shopping and now I am home baking a cake. I have a strawberry shortcake in the oven. My daddy raised lots and lots of strawberries this year. So I am putting what he gave me to good use. So I guess I'll check in again later.

It's early morning here and already hot and muggy got to head off to the grocery store for a few things here in a little while. Trying to think what I should wear that would not be so not feeling today. My sons home with me today and he's always a big help when I take him to town so I'll check back in later.
